Division 1 standings

This division is organized differently from Division 2. In Division 2 there are two groups and each team plays each other team in it's group twice. Division 1, however, is a single round all pay all. When this is completed the top 4 teams than play a mini all play all, carrying through all the points collected from the previous round. As far as I am aware the following standings are complete up to the completion of the first round.

A disappointing finale to the season for Felixstowe. After a loss on board 4 Felixstowe equalized with a comfortable win on board 1. The position on board 2 was roughly even and we were easily winning on board 3 - enough to decide the match in our favour. Unaccountably board 3 was eventually drawn and board 2 lost!!  A match we should have won  2½-1½ was lost by the same margin in the space of about an hour!
